I love this time of year. The days are starting to grow longer. The weather is beautiful and flowers are starting to bloom. Orchids are one of my favorite flowers, but I’ve always been intimidated by them. I have such a black thumb. I kill nearly every plant I buy, both indoors and out. I’m not kidding! I’m on my third set of bushes in front of our house!! I saw these gorgeous orchids on sale at Kroger and I had to have one for my mantel. The sweet lady that works in the floral department gave me some tips on how to take care of it. We’ll see how it’s doing a few weeks from now!
Now on to the rest of my mantel….I wanted to keep it sweet and simple. I found these little guys at Kroger, too. They were only a few bucks. I’m always surprised at the random things I’m able to find at Kroger. If you have one near you, you should check out their holiday/home section.
This was so easy to make and adds a great touch for spring. I just used a regular wooden initial I picked up at a craft store and hot glued floral moss from the dollar store to it…easy peasy!
These beautiful and versatile Stiletto Pedestals came in my Willow House kit. I love them so much already. You can use them for sorts of things. Fill them with vase fillers, flowers, or even food! You can find them here.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying some beautiful spring weather wherever you are!!Pin It
