Burlap Rosette Frame

Happy Almost Friday!!

Last week, I showed you the Fruit of the Spirit printable I made. The white frame I had it in was fine, but I really wanted something special for it.

I’ve made fabric rosettes for a wreath before, but I’ve never used burlap to make them.

I had some cheap plastic frames that I wasn’t using and thought it would be perfect to make a burlap rosette frame.

There are several tutorials online showing you how to make these flowers.

Here’s a quick how to….

Start with a strip of burlap and tie a knot at one end.

Start wrapping the fabric around the knot. You can twist it as you go to give it more dimension.

Use a bit of hot glue to secure the end.

That’s it. Now you have a cute little burlap rosette!

I made about 2 dozen of these and then lined them up around the frame.

After cutting the extra strings off of them, I started gluing them on.

Here’s what I ended up with…

I glued a thin strip of burlap around the outside of the frame to hide the blue.

Then I hung it in my kitchen…too cute!

You can print your own copy of the Fruit of the Spirit printable here.
