Hello and welcome to my blog! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. My name is Jennifer and I’m a suburbanite living in North Texas. I am married to a wonderful, loving, and incredibly patient man. I have two dogs – Cooper and Sadie. They are a handful!
I am a full-time office manager at a private equity firm. Before becoming an office manager, I had a successful career as a retail manager for ten years. My love for design began while working retail. I loved visual merchandising and new floor changes.
I am a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management. I stay quite busy working and going to school full-time, but I squeeze in as many projects as I can on the weekend.
I love to read. Books are one of my favorite things and I love my Kindle. Yes, I’m a convert! Fiction, non-fiction, biographies, magazines…if it has words, I’ll read it.
I have a cookie addiction. It doesn’t matter what kind…chocolate chip, macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin. I love them all. I enjoy cooking and baking and I can’t wait to share with you my favorite recipes.
I am an amateur photographer. I love to capture beauty in ordinary places. I have so much to learn and I practice as often as I can. Check out my portfolio at Laughter and Grace Photography.
